Lost in the 50's
with The Crewcuts and The Chordettes
You can get full details on the groups in our Lost in the 50's show at our pages for The New Chordettes, and The Crew Cuts.
Imagine sitting in the audience and listening to the great songs of the 50's and 60's from the groups that recorded them and saying to yourself, "I could have sung that" or "I remember doing that dance," when all of a sudden The Crew Cuts or The Chordettes stop singing and bring you up to sing and dance with them!
Well, get ready! That's about to happen! This is the first integrated audience/artist/star show ever! The Crew Cuts ("Shangri-La","P.S. I Love You", "Til Then") and The Chordettes ("Mr. Sandman","Lollipop","Never on Sunday","Eddie, My Love") join together to create a show that involves the audience singing on stage with the acts. In essence, the stage merges with the audience into one great party!
For example: The Crew Cuts sing "Come go with me", the great chartbuster from The Del Vikings. Four men are selected by "The Chordettes" and are brought up to the stage to join them and The Crew Cuts while singing. Also included is a great dance medley, the whole audience can dance the Stroll, the Bunny Hop, the Conga and other dances ending up with a riotuous version of The Village People's "YMCA".
In addition to personal involvement, you get a "breather" watching an elegant waltz with The Crew Cuts and The Chordettes singing and dancing to "The Tennessee Waltz". Add a big swing number and boy/girl duets and this will be a night well remembered.
